  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup melted butter Can be substituted with applesauce for a healthier option.
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 160°C (320°F) for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir until evenly mixed.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract together until smooth.
  4. Gradually fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Lightly grease a baking dish that fits in your air fryer. Pour the brownie batter into the dish, spreading evenly.
  6. Insert the baking dish into the air fryer and cook for about 15-20 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
  7. Once baked, remove the brownies from the air fryer and allow to cool slightly before slicing.
