Ingredients
Method
Preparation
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until melted.
Cooking the Chicken
- Add the chicken to the skillet and brown it on both sides, about 6-7 minutes per side. Ensure it is cooked through.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Sauce Preparation
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat and add minced garlic, cooking until fragrant, around 30 seconds.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir, scraping up any bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Gradually add grated Parmesan cheese while stirring until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
Finishing Touches
- Return the chicken breasts to the skillet to coat them with the creamy garlic sauce and heat for an additional minute.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot, optionally over pasta or steamed vegetables.
Notes
For a lighter version, consider using Greek yogurt instead of cream. Avoid burning the garlic by keeping the heat medium. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat gently on the stovetop, adding a splash of cream if needed.
