- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and thinly slice the potatoes using a mandoline or a sharp knife. Aim for consistent thickness for even cooking.
- In a large bowl, mix the potato slices with olive oil, BBQ seasoning, and a pinch of salt. Toss until all slices are evenly coated.
- Spread the coated potato slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Avoid overcrowding for maximum crispiness.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, flipping the chips halfway through. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning; they should turn golden and crispy.
- Once done, let the chips cool for a few minutes, and then serve them warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding garlic powder, onion powder, or cheese. Store chips in an airtight container for 2-3 days. Uncooked potato slices can be frozen for up to a month. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) until crunchy again.
