Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 tablespoons butter Can substitute with olive oil for a lighter version
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon juice (optional) For added brightness
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once it’s sizzling, add the minced garlic and cook for about one minute until fragrant, but be careful not to burn it.
  2. Add the shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  3. Toss in the broccoli florets and stir well to coat them with the garlic butter. Cover the skillet and let it steam for about 3 minutes, until the broccoli is bright green and tender yet still crisp.
  4. If desired, drizzle with lemon juice for brightness. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For perfect results, don't overcrowd the skillet and watch the shrimp closely to prevent overcooking. Refrigerate leftovers for up to three days, or freeze for up to a month.
