Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup Adjust to taste if you prefer it sweeter.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch salt

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine the chia seeds, almond milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Whisk everything together until the chia seeds are well distributed and there are no clumps.
  3. Let it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes, then whisk again to prevent clumping.
  4. Refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours (or overnight) until it reaches a pudding-like consistency.
  5. Serve it chilled, topped with your favorite fruits or nuts.

Notes

Experiment with different types of milk for various flavors. To avoid clumping, whisk after letting it sit. Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days. Gentle reheating in the microwave is an option.
