Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional) Can be omitted for nut allergies
  • 1/4 cup raisins (optional) Can be omitted based on preference

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure the perfect baking environment for your muffins.
  2. Grease a 12-cup muffin tin with butter or cooking spray to prevent the muffins from sticking.
  3. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon to make the sweet coating.
  4. Open the cans of biscuit dough and separate them. Cut each biscuit into quarters.
  5. Roll each quarter of biscuit dough in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until fully coated.
  6. Layer the coated dough pieces into the greased muffin tin. Sprinkle nuts or raisins between layers if using.
  7. In another bowl, combine the melted butter and brown sugar, then pour the mixture evenly over the muffin tin filled with dough balls.
Baking
  1. Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown.
  2. Let the muffins cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before gently removing them.
  3. Serve warm for the best experience.
