  • 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened Ensure your cream cheese is at room temperature for a smooth texture.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • to taste Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by gathering and measuring out all your ingredients.
Blend the Base
  1. In a food processor or a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, crumbled feta cheese, softened cream cheese, and olive oil.
Add Flavor
  1. Mix in the minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
Whip it Good
  1. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
Taste and Adjust
  1. Taste your dip and adjust the seasoning if needed, perhaps with a pinch more salt or a dash more pepper.
Serve

Notes

This dip can last for up to 5 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator. For reheating, use a microwave-safe dish and heat in short intervals, stirring in between. It can also be frozen in individual portions; thaw in the fridge overnight before reheating.
